CAIPA is the cornerstone of a network of all Invest-ment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) in the Caribbean and economic development entities. The membership is growing and provides an opportunity to exchanging experiences, identifying best practice in investment promotion and investment services.

CAIPA provides a forum for its members to cooperate with other CARIFORUM IPAs on a regional basis, as well as to create opportunities for investment promo-tion. In addition through a number of international affiliates provides information on new tools and services.

IPAs may stand to benefit from capacity building initiatives and training opportunities. CAIPA provides its members with donors and providers of technical assistance.


CAIPA and the Business Community

CAIPA collaborates with the regional business councils, chambers of commerce, sector associa-tions and private sector to promote the joint efforts in attracting investors and supporting re-gional investment in the region.

CAIPA will create the platform to bring together international investors and IPAs. This is the main objective of CAIPA to increase the visibility of the CARIFORUM region as an investment destination of choice.

How do CAIPA Members Benefit? CAIPA members benefit from three main types of ser-vices:

Training: CAIPA provides training workshops organized based on a feedback system from the IPAs which is used to develop customized programmes with international organizations and consulting firms. These workshops are mostly free to all CAIPA members.

Networking: CAIPA conducts regular IPA meetings which allow IPAs to share their best prac-tices with one another and hear on the latest investment trends in the region from seasoned guest speakers. CAIPA also organises study tours to other successful IPAs

Market Intelligence: Members will regularly receive the following:
